It sort of happened accidentally. I hadn’t planned to share our entire Ramsey story in this season of the podcast, but few interviews rescheduled and I had some dates to fill. . .
And here we are 5 episodes deep into this series.
17: Our Ramsey Story, Part 1: Hoping to be chosen
18: Our Ramsey Story, Part 2: Spies, Cash, Fear, and Rich People Habits
19: Our Ramsey Story, Part 3: Everything Falls Apart
20: Our Ramsey Story, Part 4: The Got Your Six Meeting (Episode 1 of 2
21: Our Ramsey Story, Part 5: The Got Your Six Meeting (Episode 2 of 2
Because I published two episodes last week, I’m taking off this week from publishing a new episode, but I will be sharing some bonus content with the membership community on Patreon. Join us there if you haven’t! The membership community makes it possible for me to do all of this and it where I share regular bonus material, transcripts, behind the scenes, and a monthly livestream.
Speaking of livestreams, the month’s livestream will be next week on November 16 at 8:00pm central time. We’re going to talk about the book Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism by Amanda Montell and I’m going to share some of the observations Melissa Hogan and I weren’t able to include on our episodes where we analyzed the Got Your Six meeting at Ramsey Solutions. I would love for you to join us!
Yesterday, I shared this on Instagram:
Here’s the text: “Last week I shared two new podcast episodes. They were the most important episodes I've shared so far.
I know that sharing the story of our experience at Ramsey Solutions will put a target on me. I know it will inspire conversations, and maybe even team meetings, where my character and motivations are questioned.
I would be lying if I said it didn't bother me. It does.
But as my friend, Sarah, said in one of my first podcast episodes, "The truth says, 'examine me'." I welcome that. Let the light illuminate all the darkness and let the truth be exposed.
I care that people know the truth. And in all the narrative shaping that may come out of the mouths of leadership at Ramsey in regard to what I've been saying, I hope you ask if they can actually dispute the facts of the situation.
And if the narrative being shared is that I'm trying to "destroy" them, ask yourself why an organization or a leader would be damaged by people knowing the truth.
A person who walks in integrity doesn't fear the truth.”
Here’s to you, brave Truth Tellers.
Thanks for joining me,
Amy
