Today, I’m celebrating being all DONE with grief!
(Cue the band)
If only it were that easy, right?
While grief may not be forever in the past, I did just wrap up this podcast season on grief. If you haven’t had a chance to listen yet, here’s a list of the episodes to check out when you get a chance:
On Grief & Loss of Community and Story with Curtis Chang.
Let’s Talk About Grief: The Mosaic of Grief & How Denial is Good with Connie Baker
Let’s Talk About Grief: Is It Okay to Be Angry
Let’s Talk About Grief: Suffering in Community
Let’s Talk About Grief: Something Just Exploded (Kat and Colby Wilkins)
Let’s Talk About Grief: Boom! Acceptance After the Explosion
Bonus Audio: Encanto & Brave Truth Tellers in Faith Communities
I’m proud of this season.
What I am most excited about for you is that you were able to hear from super smart and thoughtful people like Curtis Chang and Connie Baker and you got to hear from Kat and Colby Wilkins and Emily Snook as they share throughout the season, and my friend, and one of your favorites, Melissa Hogan shared some of her story.
For the last episode, Kat, Colby, Emily, and I recorded all together. It felt like a family reunion (the good kind) where you tell stories and laugh a lot. My heart is full. We had so much audio I wasn’t able to share it all on the regular podcast and have given the “extra” to the membership community. If you’re interested, you can find it here.
Looking forward
Season 4 is officially wrapped, but before I jump into what I hope to be a deep dive on a particular topic, I have several interviews I’ll be sharing with you all. Here’s what the upcoming schedule looks like:
March 30: Funny church stories
April 6: Mary DeMuth and Misunderstood Women of the Bible
April 13: Glenn Packiam talks about recent Barna research he shared in The Resilient Pastor
April 20th: Sheila Gregoire
April 27th: Untangling Finances- Former Ramsey folks chat about what they have learned and un-learned about “God’s way” with money.
May 19-21: I’ll be at Julie Roys’ Restore Conference in Elgin, Illinois. I’m just attending as a regular person, and I would love to meet you if you attend. Let me know if you will be there!
Have you met my dog, Samantha (Sammy)?
She sends her love. Her life is about to be turned upside down in a few weeks when a brand-new puppy joins our family!
Thanks so much for all your support for Untangled Faith!
