I wrote a piece reflecting on the systems we have in place that make it difficult for all of us to handle these scandals in ways where we can grow and support everyone involved. Some of the issue imho is setting up spaces where one dynamic personality is centered by an entire team. Just like worst case abuses, there’s so much pressure to protect that person and their reputation because they are the face of the organization or movement.
You’ve presented a valuable challenge. But my guess is that planting a tree would be a whole lot easier than answering your questions. Relational stuff is always harder than physical work.
